Nicola
...has been a cornerstone of Drama Kids (formerly Helen O’Grady Drama Academy) for over 25 years. She began as a teacher and has served as Principal for the past 21 years. Since 2018, she has also supported other Principals across the network as Training Supervisor.
A graduate of East 15 Acting School (BA Hons Acting), Nicola’s career spans TV comedy, commercials, film, and theatre. She recently appeared in a comedy TV series and has previously performed in musical theatre, corporate acting, and national theatre-in-education tours.
Outside Drama Kids, Nicola is Singing and Music Director for the charity Kissing It Better, coordinating performances for hospitals and care homes—often alongside her son. Their work was featured in a BBC documentary in 2017, highlighting the power of the arts in supporting older people.

 Andrew 
​...has over 21 years of teaching experience with Drama Kids North London (formerly Helen O’Grady Drama Academy). A graduate of East 15 Acting School (BA Hons Acting), he has built a successful screen career across the UK and Europe, appearing in EastEnders, The Crown (Season 5), and recently filming a lead episodic role in a popular children’s TV series.Alongside his acting, Andrew has taught at The Method Studio (formerly Lee Strasberg Acting School), specialising in Shakespeare, and has written song links for a BBC Radio 1 DJ.
Together with his wife, Nicola Gossip, Andrew leads Drama Kids North London as Joint Principal, sharing a passion for nurturing young performers — including their two sons, who also attend the Academy.

Michael Michael has been part of Drama Kids North London (formerly Helen O’Grady Drama Academy) for most of his life — first joining as a pupil at just five years old and continuing until he was 18. In 2023, he began teaching classes and quickly became a well-loved teacher, known for his warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Growing up in Stoke Newington, Michael has a strong connection to the local community. Alongside Drama Kids, he works as a Learning Support Assistant in a North London primary school and has gained filming experience in recent years.
Outside of teaching, Michael enjoys photography, digital media editing, and IT, and is also skilled in origami, bringing imagination and attention to detail to everything he does.
